We are a FULL SERVICE tailoring/alterations shop, and our motto is
"Yes We Can, Just Say When." We came up with that motto by asking ourselves this question,
"What good is a tailoring shop if they don't sew for you when you need it?",
and the answer is not very good at all, don't you agree? And by FULL SERVICE, we mean we can handle all your sewing needs, including even just sewing on a button.
We do alterations for Women and Men, on any fabric at all. Usually you can just come in during regular business hours for a fitting, no appointment required. We work on leather, suede and furs, as well as wools, cottons, laces, beaded fabrics, polyesters and silks. You name it, we can handle it.
For leathers we mean clothing leathers, like pants, jackets and skirts, NOT shoes or thick belts. We can sew on your Harley patches, we can patch tears, and we can fix or replace zippers.
The simplest way to put it is this: If it requires sewing, we can help you.
Beading/Sequin/Crystals repair is one more service we can help you with. We routinely do custom beading/sequin/crystal outfits, so repairing them is almost ALWAYS do-able. Please make an appointment to see Scylvia about a repair like this, as she is the only one who can tell how much it will cost. Lou or Laurie can tell you that we can do it, but you'll need Scylvia for an exact estimate.
When an appointment is Necessary
Depending on what you would like to be done to your garment, we recommend you call us (our phone number is at the top of the page) and ask if you should have an appointment if you need help with:
- Formal dresses
- Custom sewing needs
- Alterations on Furs
- Wedding or bridesmaid dresses
